Rachel has been with CCVH since late 2019 as our primary Animal Care Assistant. She is currently working through her undergraduate degree at UNCC and looks forward to working towards becoming a veterinarian. Rachel enjoys working in the vetmed field because she is eager to help animals and to expand her mind and skillset by learning new things. She has already had many years of experience working with dogs and cats through volunteering with the Humane Society of Union County.

Apart from her vetmed work, Rachel enjoys hiking, drawing, writing, and photography. She also loves spending time with her puppy sidekick, Stella.

Fun Fact: Rachel organized an animal rescue club in high school and also had one of her art pieces featured in the Mint Museum of Charlotte.
